A solid collection of intermediate tunes. I appreciate the variety, though a few tunes were outside my comfort zone initially—which is a good thing! The chords are well-placed, and the finger charts are still a handy quick reference. A very high-quality follow-up to Book 1.

After mastering Book 1, this was the perfect progression. The tunes here are more complex and beautifully arranged. It’s definitely helped me move from just keeping up to actually leading a few sets. The continued clarity of the notation makes tackling the slightly trickier melodies much easier.

Whoever thought of the lay-flat wire binding deserves an award! I can finally place my book on the music stand without it snapping shut. It seems like a small detail, but it makes practice so much more enjoyable. The tunes are great too, clear and easy to follow.

I’ve tried several tune books over the years, and this one is the most user-friendly by a mile. The 'one tune per page' layout makes sight-reading so much less stressful. Plus, the included audio access is invaluable for getting the rhythm and ornamentation right. A must-have for the beginning session musician.
